FSU is aware of the challenges students may be experiencing obtaining immunizations in light of the current pandemic novel coronavirus. University Health Services will provide temporary deferments to allow for class registration. Deferments are approved on a case-by-case basis. If you are unable to meet your immunization requirement, please contact the UHS health compliance staff to see if you qualify. The University requires that students have health insurance, but if you have specific concerns or questions, please contact the UHS Health Compliance Staff.

I went to school in Florida, do I still need to submit my records?
If you are a Florida Resident, we may be able to access your immunization records through the Florida Shots program. If we can pull your records from Florida Shots, we may be able to clear your requirement without additional work on your part. If we are not able to, we may be able to provide a temporary lift of this requirement to get you through your initial registration. Please email email@example.com and include your FSU Card or Emplid for assistance.
I am an incoming International student and will be spending the spring term in my home country, do I still need to submit my immunization forms and health insurance information?
We will work with you to lift these holds to allow for registration. These requirements will need to be completed for the semester you arrive to study in the United States. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org and include your FSUid or Emplid for assistance.
